Exclusive Interview with Orange County Photographer, Marvin Mosca, Tells Us That Life IS  Worth Living; As Long As You Keep The 'Film' Over Your Eyes.

Question:
"What is your inspiration for photographing?"

Response:
"One: The Father of fine arts:  GOD (smiles)... And Two: Everything that i see with my naked eye (laughs)... A drop of water bouncing in a puddle... the roaring waves of the sea... the unspoiled alignment of the stars, the remarkable lights of the city and most of all a subtle but captivating smile."

Question:
"Why did you choose the pictures that you gave me for the feature? What is the significance behind each one?"

Response:
"The first pic - 'blankets/bed' - (laughs)... First of all its not "Wonderland" (referring to John Mayer's song), I was listening to this old song called "Goodbye Girl" and it was my interpretation of that song... You're saying 'goodbye' to someone, but it doesn't mean forever; just like what the lyrics said. Maybe its not the right time for now, but it'll be worth the sacrifice in the future... hope that makes sense (laughs)... By the way, I took that picture back in '08."

"'The Birthday Girl' - I chose that one because it was my first photograph. It was still vivid in my mind... Its actually the birthday of a good friend of mine and everybody seems busy getting dressed up, putting on make-up etc... And I look back after I adjusted my settings and her face was the first thing that I saw reflected back in the mirror... Serene yet excited - that's what I felt when I took that picture (laughs) By the way, I would like to give credits to Rachel for letting me hog her camera at that time (laughs)... Include that in your description (laughs)."

"Third - 'Bus Stop' - (laughs) Nothing much to say about it... I always take the bus going to school or work and the feeling that you get after you've waited for a long time for the bus to arrive was worth it... I guess the concept of "waiting" is in that picture... (laughs)."

Question:
"What would you like to do with your photography talents?"

Response:
"What would I like to do with it?... Start a business of my own or work for someone... Like, be one of the professional photographers in a big company. If that doesn't work out, maybe just freelance and sell some of 'em (laughs)."

Question:
"Last question: Is there anywhere that the readers of Tha Blizzog! can view your portfolio or gallery?"

Response:
"Yes, I made a website for my pictures; you can check it out at http://www.captainbackfirephotography.com
